More info about Christina Aguilera’s upcoming album
February 16, 2009 by Sherry

I’ve managed to find out a few more bits of information about Christina Aguilera’s upcoming fourth album. Not only has she been in talks with Ladytron, as previously mentioned, she’s also planning something with Australian singer Sia.
Christina is also re-uniting with Linda Perry, who worked with her on Beautiful.
Between the old influences and some new blood, it sounds like Christina Aguilera’s new album will be a smash hit with some fresh sounds combined with the roots her fans love.
The only disappointment for me right now is that as of this time we still have no idea when the new album is going to be available. Christina seems to be keeping pretty hush-hush and is clearly in stealth mode as far as actually doing any studio work at the moment. I can’t wait to hear more so I know when I can expect to get my hands on the new album!

High Quality version of Christina Aguilera’s new song “Falling In Love Again”
January 23, 2009 by Sherry
Christina Aguilera has a brand new song out called “Falling In Love Again (Can’t Help It)”. The song is from the soundtrack for the movie The Spirit. There’s been a low quality version of the song floating around the internet recently, but now there’s finally a high quality version that you can actually hear properly.
It’s just over eight minutes long which sounds lengthy but the song runs throughout the credits which may explain that. I find it very different from what Christina usually sings, it’s very subtle and unusual.
If you’re curious about the movie, which was released on December 25th (and promptly wildly overshadowed by Marley & Me, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Valkyrie, which is why few people seem to have heard of it), you can check out the details on IMDB.
What do you think of the song?

A collection of Christina Aguilera’s best vocal performances
You may have noticed that Christina Aguilera has been laying low for much of the month of January. Likely, she is spending a lot of time with her little boy and her husband, perhaps thinking of what’s next for her career, but she’s hasn’t been spotted out much lately.
That’s okay though. While we like to see Christina out and about, it’s still really about her vocals, right? We love the music and we love to listen to that insane power voice of hers.
A fan put together a fabulous video of Christina Aguilera’s top vocal performances. Many of them are live and they include “The Star Spangled Banner” at age 17 and “Too Beautiful For Words” at age 14.
Which one was your favorite? I particularly loved “Hurt”.
Christina Aguilera is back in the studio

X17 Online reports that Christina Aguilera was spotted going to her music studio….This is good news for fans of hers like me who is waiting with baited breath for her next album.
What I don’t like is X17’s implication that Christina Aguilera is ‘out so much’ and even questioned ‘who’s looking after the baby?‘ — I believe that Christina is a very good mother and she is not seen out much! Not enough! She needs some down time and alone time too, surely?

Stripped CD (Christina Aguilera)
In Christina Aguilera’s latest album ‘Stripped’, you will see the ‘real’ sultry songstress — The sixteen new tracks that comprise Stripped, including her sensational debut single, “Dirrty,” showcases an unadorned, unfettered and fearlessly outspoken artist who has liberated herself, her soul and her music on an album that is as much a declaration of independence as it is a convincing demonstration of her fierce and original talent.

Christina Aguilera stands her ground
August 11, 2007 by Christine

It’s about time someone stands up for womanhood! This time in the name of music! And who else to do that but the sultry, Christina Aguilera!
UK Music reports
The singer has hit out at the hypocrisy in the music industry that brands successful women ‘divas’ for standing up for themselves.
She said:
‘There’s a lot of crap when you’re up against men in this industry. If a man’s assertive, he’s head of the ship. If a woman shows the same aggression, she’s a diva. I’m sorry, if I’m working hard on the road and have a few requests, I’m not going to hold back.’
