Christina Aguilera is a chameleon when it comes to her photos.  Christina can be sexy, coy, seductive, smart, sassy and fun, and all in the span of 5 nearly identical photos!  Whatever Christina Aguilera wants us to see, she gives it to us.

This week, Christina had a lot of press coverage from New York to Los Angeles.  The photographers were out there to cover her from head to toe and we saw a lot of great and not-so-great photos of Christina. 

What struck me though was how ‘unlike Christina’ Christina can look.  Sometimes I see photos of her and wonder if she used a double, because there is no way that photo could be Christina!

At the Inspire kick off at Macy’s on Monday September 2nd, Christina had photos taken from every angle.  I’m surprised there isn’t a naked photo of Christina Aguilera in there somewhere with all the shots the photographers and fans took of her!

Looking at many of the photos of Christina, I felt I was looking at another celebrity at times.  Certain poses and the way she held herself really reminded me of Priscilla Presley. Priscilla is a beautiful woman too and although she is much older than Christina, I was reminded of Priscilla’s look when she was younger and married to Elvis Presley. 

Granted, Priscilla had jet black hair and quite heavy and dark make-up back in the day, but if you pretend Christina has black hair (which we HAVE seen before), perhaps you’ll see the resemblance too.

What’s Christina Aguilera 101: ?

According to an article in Spin.com, Australian ‘popstress’ Sia reports that she will be collaborating with Christina Aguilera on Christina’s new album.

In an interview with Spin.com, Sia tells readers that Christina has asked her to lend her songwriting skills to Christina’s upcoming album.  Although the two haven’t met, they have spoken on the phone and Christina expressed delight to be working with Sia.

Sia said that she’ll write some songs for Christina, but she has no idea if in the end Christina will like any of them.  But Sia is very excited to have been contacted by Christina to collaborate with her.

Christina says that she has loved make up ever since she was a little girl and would sit at her mother’s vanity playing with her lipstick and perfume.  What little girl didn’t love doing that?

Christina Aguilera is stunning! 

Macy’s, the retail department store, celebrates its 150th birthday this year and is celebrating in style.  Christina Aguilera joins Macy’s celebration by posing for an ad in one of the most gorgeous gowns ever! The photo was taken by world renowned photographer Mark Seliger.

In this clip, Hollywood.TV found Christina at The Pacific Movie Theatre and later with husband Jordan Bratman at the trendy Abbey restaurant and bar back in late May.

In my continuing Christina Aguilera 101: series, I’ve found yet one more video clip of a very young Christina Aguilera.  This clip, along with the two prior postings of A Sunday Kind Of Love and Break It To Me Gently, show growth in Christina’s voice and stage presence. 

In this 1991 performance, 11-year old Christina sings Black Velvet.  It is amazing to see Christina’s vocal growth in just a year’s time.  Her voice is stronger and more mature, and shows development towards becoming one of the most powerful voices in the industry.

What’s Christina Aguilera 101: ?

Christina Aguilera has made a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) for Rock the Vote and Access Hollywood gave audiences a sneak preview of the video last night.  Many thanks to Rock the Vote for posting the preview on YouTube.  We should get a chance to see the full PSA soon!

I previously read that Christina made this PSA for Rock the Vote as she is a firm believer in having every eligible person register and exercise their right to vote.

While making the PSA, Christina chose to sing softly to her son Max (who was wrapped in an American flag) while cradled in her arms.  I would think that had she belted out America the Beautiful as we all know she can, Max might have exercised his right to be startled and cry!

Christina Aguilera is on the cover of Glamour magazine’s August 2008 issue! 

I picked up a copy of Glamour this past week and was thrilled to read the latest news about Christina!

Christina is a true working mom, with the emphasis on work!  Not only has Christina slimmed down to her pre-baby body with rigorous daily workouts, she is recording her next album, getting set to launch her new perfume Inspire, and is working with jewelry designer Stephen Webster. 

Not for nothing, Christina IS also a new mom! And anyone who thinks that’s not a full-time job doesn’t know anything about babies! Baby Max is just about 7 months old now, and in between feedings, diaper changes, and time to laugh and play, Christina has to fit in husband Jordan Bratman somewhere too!

Hello everyone!  My name is Betsy and I am Aguilera Buff’s new blogger!  I can’t tell you how excited I am to be posting about one of the most amazing talents –Christina Aguilera! 

While I am now an official blogger at b5media, I recently had the great fortune of being a guest correspondent for b5’s Lynn DeVries at realityexploits (thanks so much Lynn!), and recently I was a guest blogger for b5’s Scott at rockdose (thanks Scott!).  I must have done something right because the editors have granted me my very own blog and now I get to post about a fabulous artist…and how much fun this will be!!!

You all probably know that news about Christina these days is pretty slow, but the good news is that it’s starting to pick up!  Just today I bought Glamour magazine with Christina on the cover (more about that in another post!).
