That’s all I can say when I watch this video clip of Christina Aguilera on the Red Carpet for the Esquire House Rock the Vote party.

All you hear for a full minute is people yelling at Christina to pose, to look this way, to look over her shoulder. And Christina obliges them all!

Christina looks one way, flips her hair, and her face is sexy and expressive.
Christina has to love the camera and the photogs, otherwise I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t go absolutely insane!

On Thursday, September 25th, 2008, Christina Aguilera hosted a party given by Esquire benefitting Rock the Vote.
You may recall that early this summer, Christina appeared in a Rock the Vote public service announcement, where she quietly sang America the Beautiful to baby son Max as he lay softly in her arms, draped in the American flag.
Encouraging Americans to register and vote, Christina said, “It’s time to make history. It’s time to Rock the Vote.”
Christina was interviewed on the Red Carpet as she entered the Rock the Vote benefit. In the interview she talked about why change is badly needed, these are historic times, and how proud she is to be a part of this night. Christina is proud to be representing the next generation and that it’s important that everyone understand that their vote counts today!
“Freedom? It’s Everything!”
Christina said that without freedom, she wouldn’t be able to be an artist or a musician, make the videos or wear the clothes she does, if it weren’t for freedom, so “Thank God for that!”
Yesterday, I wrote an article that I posted on my personal blog at www.BetsysView.com. The subject is California’s Proposition 8, which seeks to legally discriminate against same-sex couples. The title of the article is Why I Oppose California’s Proposition 8 Eliminating Same-Sex Marriages.
Hearing Christina speak passionately about freedom and change, I am confident that Christina opposes Proposition 8. Christina has spoken publicly about California’s previous same-sex marriage ban, stating, “I think it’s really unfair that there has to be some kind of standard for marriage. Marriage should be about celebrating two people’s love for each other. It shouldn’t have anything to do with someone’s sexual preference…I’m just all about no judgment and (having) equal rights.” source
When asked by The Advocate magazine if she supported gay marriage, Christina said, "Yes. My trainer married her girlfriend last weekend and we went. It was beautiful. I was so touched by their vows to each other, I totally cried." She added, "I never get people who think being gay is some kind of choice…It really saddens me." source

It is clear that Christina supports gay rights, gay marriage, and the right to choice and freedom. Christina Aguilera hosted a party at the Esquire House in Hollywood, California last night. The party benefitted Rock the Vote. Have you registered to vote yet?
Ok, can I officially say it? I LOVE CHRISTINA’S OUTFIT!!!
Christina definitely has a retro look right now. She’s sticking with the black and white lately, and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this look! And the go-go boots? Wow!
And shame on those of you who think Christina is fat. Please! Christina looks great and this outfit is a perfect fit for her! It’s not revealing cleavage and it’s not too short or too tight.
Definitely a HIT!

Rock the Vote is holding a party at the Esquire House tonight and the word is that our Ms. Christina Aguilera is set to host it.

Here’s something I bet you weren’t expecting!
There is a Christina Aguilera Web site for the Abu Dhabi concert on October 24th! Imagine that? A whole Web site!

By all accounts, this is going to be a huge concert.
On the Web site, you can hear some Christina clips and there is even a gallery.
The promoters and organizers are going all out! On the Web site you can get information on the venue, including seating chart, the official hotel, newspaper, powering brand, magazine, radio station, record label partner and official talent source (Live Nation) and of course ticket information.
Now that’s an incredible site for one concert!
Sure wish I were going!

When Christina Aguilera showed up on the Red Carpet for the 2008 MTV VMAs, she looked smashing!
Photographers snapped photos of Christina from every angle, and Christina played to the cameras like the minx that she is!
Stunning in her black gown, Christina out-glammed every other person on the Red Carpet.
The vaults have been opened and I’m happy to share some photos you may not yet have seen.
I tried to capture a different image with each photo of Christina. One of my favorites is where she has her eyes closed and is pushing away her hair. I call it the ‘Cher’ look! ‘Just’ Jack McFarland eat your heart out!

Christina Aguilera gave an interview to the Netherlands October edition of CosmoGirl. A few people have offered English translations and here is one of them:
Things have been quiet with the diva with the sexy look and powerful voice. But if you thought Christina hasn’t been up to anything, think again. She’s back with a lot of energy and a new look.
You look different, do you have a new image?
“With my look – and my songs – I portray how happy I am and how good I’m feeling right now. My music and my looks have always been a unity. Because I took things slow for a while, I had all the time I needed to get myself inspired. For example, I’m really into pop-art right now. Do you know those paintings from Andy Warhol, with all those bright colors? That’s exactly how I’m feeling right now: happy and energized. I have a very positive outlook on life and that affects everything I do and create.”
You’ve got thousands of fans all over the world, do you yourself have an idol?
“I know it’s really cliché, but my mother is my hero. She has always encouraged me to do what I love most. I chose to be a singer, but if I rather wanted to be a teacher, I know my mom would have supported me just as much.”
What did you learn from your mother?
“To always be honest and to never bottle your emotions up. Because of this I can express myself really well. When something is bothering me, you can immediately see it in my behavior. I often write my emotions and feelings down in a journal. This really works for me. When I read my journal back after a while I think: why was I so upset with that! My old journals mostly evolved around guys. That’s so ridiculous! Seriously girls, don’t let them get to your head. A guy needs to treat you like a princess, otherwise he’s not worth it.”

Have you seen the cover of Christina Aguilera’s new CD Keeps Gettin’ Better – A Decade of Hits? If not, here it is!
My first impression is that she looks beautiful. My second impression, or thought, is why the heck is she wearing a space helmet?
The writing on the CD cover clearly looks space-esque, and unless she’s wearing a racing helmet, that sure looks like a space-age helmet.
Just please don’t tell me that she has her spandex leggings underneath a Judy Jetson skirt!
In all seriousness, while I’m not sure how the whole helmet thing works into the Decade of Hits, I happen to think her image is gorgeous. And, I cannot wait for the CD – and any new videos!
It’s unlikely that I’ll pre-order her CD though. It’ll be a lot easier for me to drive over to Target on November 11th and pick it up. Why on earth would I wait for Target to mail it to me? Now, if they had pre-ordering with in-store pick up…that would be ok!
