I love to listen to Christina Aguilera sing; I’d hope that much is pretty obvious! Unfortunately, as much as I love to sing along to songs I enjoy, I hate singing along to anything by Christina. Why? Because I can’t hit all those crazy high notes and runs that she does. That’s why I was so impressed when I saw this video of a YouTube user doing a cover of Christina’s “I Turn to You”. Check this out!
Her name is Vanessa Cruz; isn’t she amazing? She has such a nice, rich voice and she can reach every note. I can tell you right now that I wish I could do that! When she sang the bridge my jaw was hanging open because it was perfect.

Sisters got pipes! B U T she needs to, in my opinion, CONNECT with the audience. I know she is a newbie – but with all of her songs on you tube she is definitely self promoting! I think she needs to GLAM IT UP a bit – and try out for AMERICAN IDOL where she can get the attention she needs as well as the support in attire and makeup! She is only copying XTINA and in my opinion, has a hell of a long way to go to begin to reach her entertainment level. If she is choosing to be the next XTINA – then girls gotta work on more than just the voice. XTINA rocks my world!
