Christina Aguilera to contribute to “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book

Christina Aguilera has written a lot of great songs, but now she’s going to write something a little different. The Chicken Soup for the Soul series – a collection of books featuring first-person narratives about touching, emotional moments – is putting out a new volume called Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Story Behind the Song. It’s the first all-celebrity book in the series.

Christina Aguilera will contribute a story of her own to the book alongside a vast number of musical artists including Melissa Etheridge, Jewel, and Barry Manilow. No word on whether Christina’s story behind the song will be one of the funnier ones or one that brings tears to your eyes. With her history of abuse and songs like “Beautiful” in her roster, I’m leaning towards the odds that her story just might be a tear-jerker.
