  Yawn!!!!! Yet another “celebrity” having her every move watched because she’s, (oh my God!) having a baby. How clever she is. Maybe she should let us in on the secret on how to go about achieving it… Come on. Women are getting pregnant and having babies all over the world every second. Done it twice myself. And yes, I loved being pregnant, managed two natural births (how I don’t know) and thought I was just the best mother out. Little did I know the real work was just beginning. Pregnancy is the easy bit. Bringing up the bundle of joy from infancy to adulthood is the real challenge. My boys, now 21 and 18 have certainly turned out well and I’m proud of them. And I did it with out all the help these “celebrities” can buy. I could be called a cynic, but do these women really want a baby and all the responsibility it takes to bring up a human being into a decent, responsible adult? Or is it just another publicity stunt to ensure they remain constantly in the public eye in order to further their careers. After all, there’s always the nanny to handball the kid to when it all gets a bit much.

  I suppose that would be a true thing to say about alot of celebrities, but you have to admit Christina Aguilera is a different story. She did everything she could not to make a big deal out of her pregnancy, she didn’t even announce it until she was several months along. Aside from doing some publicity for it to, I’m sure make the demand for a picture a little less hectic. She has pretty much done all she can to keep her child out of the public eye. They don’t go out and flaunt him all around town. Is it fair to say that everything that a celebrity does is a publicity stunt? Or could it be, god forbid, the one thing that nobody has thought of… maybe they are just living their lives! They just happen to have cameras following them in their every move. Did she call on those cameras to follow her, has she brought them in her house, has she does crazy absurd things in front of the camera for publicity? Not as far as I’m aware.. no holding babies over balconys or driving down a busy LA street with him on her lap. She doesn’t even have a nanny in case you were wondering. When are we going to start giving props where props are deserved? To the celebrities who despite being followed constantly have managed to keep from doing alot of the stupid things that you often see in young hollywood. I’m not even in hollywood and if I were being followed constantly I’m sure you’d see me do some things I’m not proud of. Everybody does it’s part of growing up. What do you expect her to go hide? Or is it okay if she occationally has a picture shot of her shopping, or walking into or out of a building. I’m pretty sure there are alot more people more deserving of your scruity, as for Christina, I think shes probably more grounded than any other person in hollywood.
